6th Annual Rainbow Book Fair (2014)

I attended the Rainbow Book Fair as co-coordinator of the William Way GLBT Center Library. I focused on creating contacts with publishers and authors of GLBT books to learn more about the field and obtain new books for the library.

American Library Association Midwinter Conference 2014

I attended the American Library Association Midwinter Conference as a recent graduate the Drexel University iSchool and co-coordinator of the William Way GLBT Center Library. I focused on sessions in the ALA JobList Placement Center and worked the exhibit hall to find books, products and services which would benefit the library.

American Library Association Annual Conference 2013

I attended the American Library Association Annual Conference as a student at the Drexel University iSchool. I focused on sessions in the ALA JobList Placement Center.

Public Library Association Conference 2012

I attended the Public Library Association Conference as a student at the Drexel University iSchool. I attended sessions which focused on creating collections which embrace the needs of different sectors of the library's population, including What Makes a Collection? Redefining the Library through the Collection and LGBTQ Library Services for Rural Communities.

Creating Change 2011

I attended Creating Change as a representative of the National Union of LGBTQQI Students. As such I attended sessions in the Practice Spirit, Do Justice Institute, a special programming track focused on issues of LGBTQ in faith-based communities. Sessions attended included Intersectional Movement Building from a Faith Perspective, Building Bridges To Wholeness - Next Strategies for LGBT Jewish Movement Building, and the College Student Caucus.
